This section describes the processing of your personal data on a number of legal grounds.
Among other things, we process your personal data to be able to fulfill the agreement with you as a customer, for example to carry out projects and purchases and to be able to invoice you.
In some cases, we may have a legal obligation to process your personal data. This applies, for example, to the processing of personal data that we carry out in order to fulfill the requirements of the Accounting Act. However, we only save the data that is necessary to fulfill this legal obligation.
Part of the processing of personal data that we carry out is based on a so-called balancing of interests. This applies, for example, to the processing we carry out in order to be able to send you offers about our products and services. We do not process sensitive personal data based on a balancing of interests and do not carry out any processing that constitutes profiling based on a balancing of interests.
We may also process your personal data based on your consent. This consent can be revoked by you. To withdraw consent, contact us via the contact details you will find at the bottom of this page.
How long time do we save the data
Your personal data is only saved as long as there is a need to save it to fulfill the purposes for which the data was collected in accordance with this Personal Data Text. We may save the data longer if necessary to comply with legal requirements or to protect our legal interests.
To whom we disclose personal data
We may disclose your data to third parties, such as to Berner Industrier group companies and other collaboration partners and suppliers, in order to fulfill business agreements and assignments for our customers, deliver goods, carry out market research, e.g. an annual customer survey, sending out newsletters and invitations to customer events and similar activities.
Personal data may also be disclosed by us if it is necessary to comply with applicable legal requirements or requirements from authorities, to protect our legal interests or to detect and prevent security problems or technical problems.
We may transfer your personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA, if any of Berner Industrier’s suppliers or partners are located there. If personal data is transferred to a country outside the EU/EEA, we will take measures to ensure that the personal data continues to be protected and also take the necessary measures to legally transfer personal data to countries outside the EU/EEA.
We will not sell your personal data to third parties.
This is how your data is protected
You should always be able to feel comfortable when you provide us with your personal data. We have therefore taken the necessary security measures, both technical and organizational, to protect your personal data and otherwise ensure that the processing takes place in accordance with current law.
